mounted for the tourist market circa 1900 but with earlier 27in. slightly curved blade (frozen in hilt, cleaned with some staining), fully carved bone 'saya' depicting samurai warriors, the carving enhanced with coloured infills, plain bone 'tsuba' and twin suspension mounts
